I love my ipad. I had it as a gift for Christmas as an e-book reader and true I have read quite a lot of books on it. I’ve read books and enjoyed them but found that I like sharing books that I have enjoyed almost as much as I did reading them and then I like discussing them. I’m feeling like it’s totally one sided these days as people give me their read books and I have nothing in return to swap.
And Asda do bestsellers for 2 for £7 which works out cheaper than the kindle/ibook store. And if I don’t like giving them away I can sell them on at a car boot sale/sell them on e-bay* and get some of money back.
I’m also married to a printer and printing is having a tough time of it these days.
The Primrose Hospice charity shop down in the village sells paperbacks for 5 for £1!
*don’t mention the e-bay thing to John as I once sold a book on e-bay and someone in Mongolia bought it and it cost a fortune to post!
